  • OX66 takeoff issues

I have a 2004 OX66 250 TLRC on a 20 foot bass boat. I am having an issue getting on plane. When I try to accelerate with the motor trimmed down it very slowly gains RPM until it finally gets on plane the has no issues running until the next time I take off. More weight in the seat are ie fishing partner or more fuel increases the issue. I have replaced fuel pumps and filters, spark plugs, reset throttle stops per the manual, greased the hot foot throttle, tested electrical components per manual, and replaced an out of spec plug coil and wire. I am out of ideas. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

have you made sure injector and VST screens are clean?
is rail pressure in spec and staying in spec when problem shows up?

Vst yes. Injector screens no. Assuming I have to remove injectors to check that?

I do not. I don’t have a way to test that.

someone needs to test things to find out what is wrong,
or throw parts at it and hope something fixes it

sending injectors off to be tested and cleaned might be an idea and cross your fingers
