I have a 2006 f250 yamaha 4stroke with 609 hours. This motor is new to me as I purchased it used a few weeks back. . I was told by a local yamaha dealer the digital temp, volt and oil pressure indicators on the gauges should stay in the center (3rd position out of 5) when the boat is warned up and running. I have the round gauges and the temp oil and volts have 5 positions. . My temp moves up to the 4th position after running it at higher rpm's. Is this normal and/or acceptable? Thermostats and water impeller (not the entire housing) was just changed. No alarms and the engine runs good. It's on my Parker 25'. I've been slowing down -way down and she goes down in temp to the 3rd position. Hasn't happened idiling. Water stream seems week but again, this motor us new to me. Thanks for the help.
Thanks for the help.
