  • YDS port location

I have a 2004 F90TLRC and was looking for the YDS port, can't seem to locate it. Does that year have one?

A carbureted engine does not have a "YDS port",

YDS is found only with EFI - electronic fuel injection

Your source of information is hosed. Re EFI and the ignition system type. Maybe other stuff.

If you were at the motor and looking for the YDS port, you must have overlooked the four carburetors.

very strange that you noticed carbs on one of your other posts, but now think it is injected.

It was the DIAPHRAGM ASSY 2 - 67F-14369-00-00. It looks a little rusted. Is that common and what is the function of this part....how would I know if it gets too rusted and starts to go bad? Thank you for any information on this.

This why I could never run for dog catcher. Someone would bring up my sordid past. Although sordid seems to be acceptable these days.

I guess if I knew much about these motors I would not be asking the questions. I am really not trying to waste anyone's time. I winterized the motor like an EFI since I thought it was one by using the Yamaha fogging oil mixed in gas at the recommended ratio and ran the motor for 15 min. Will this have caused any problems?

We are just messing with you. Problem is we have too much idle time on our hands and waste it on our own.

No problems with what you have done.
