2005 150hp TXR 4 cyl. Trim Pump

Removed trim pump and ram assy. from engine to clean and paint and get ready for salt water. Both hinge pins were bone dry. Both pins have 2 white plastic bushings.I want to grease em up but not sure if this will soften up the bushings. What do you guys suggest?

grease them if you wish.
waste of grease as they are self lubricating.
but grease wont hurt them.
