Hello,
While I was trouble shooting a Battery2 issue, I hit the trim switch and the 704 Control Box lost Power. What I mean by that is no trim/tilt electrical power or any key power, so when I hit the trim/tilt switch or turn the ignition key nothing happens. I looked in the 250 HPDI manual and it points to a fuse box on the engine, but i checked out every fuse including the 2, 100 amp fuses and all tested good.
So if I now have a good battery connection, what else could it be ?
Is there another fuse somewhere on the engine or on the wiring harness behind the dash on the control itself ?
the voltage on the Battery measures 13 V and the voltage on the starter measures 10.5 V. I am going to clean the Ground terminals again, but even with a voltage drop, there should be power to the control box
Thank You,
DM
