F300 DEC & DES Question / Help

Ordering a new Bennington 24LXSB Tri Toon with a F300HP - Sea Star, Power Assist Steering

What is the integrated steering ?
I found some data on DES which seem to replace the Hydraulic steering

Hoping if someone could me understand the options above. When I ordered the boat only the 300DEC was a option and since then they added integrated Steering Option

Note: The boat is rated for 350HP but was told they are discounting the V8 350 for flywheel issues so drop down to the 300HP which will push the pontoon near 50MPH which is more than enough

It is safe to assume that if I ordered a 300HP DEC I getting the new DES bolted on version?
The Integrated Steering motor shows as a $3,700 upgrade does Integrated mean built in DES over the bolted version?
