  • Boats.net Parts Diagrams?

Is it me or did the illustrated parts diagrams on Boats.net go poof and disappear?

  • #2
Still there but looks to be a work in process.

I'm not seeing any parts diagrams, just a list of parts. Will make picking the right part a little more difficult without the diagrams.

Diagrams are there as noted above, on the left. You likely have to change a settihg on you puter.

Several other parts sites, (for motorcycle stuff) is the same format, so I guess this is becoming the standard..

Boats.net and other Yamaha dealers get their parts data from Yamaha USA. Don't know why they manipulate the data but they do. Helpful in some ways to have prices available but not so convenient in other ways. You can always go directly to Yams website to find the part number and then come back here to get the price. Easier to page from one page to the next at Yams website methinks.

Not for me. Might be browser version, or as you said a setting on my computer. Since I can't change its settings I guess I need to find a different source for drawings and part numbers, then compare prices of part numbers on boats.net. What a pita. Wish they would have left well enough alone.

                          Try Yamaha Outboards

Then click on "parts lookup" under the care and maintenance tab.

There are motor suffixes that I don't know the explanation for on the F250 4.2, can someone shed some light on this?

For example for my engine, F250XCA:
                              F250XCA 0112
                              F250XCA 0113
                              F250XCA 0114
                              F250XCA 0115
                              F250XCA 0210
                              F250XCA 0411

How do I know which suffix is correct for my engine?
