Hello everyone, I just rebuilt all three carburetors on my 1992 40 MSHQ Yamaha. Had trouble smoothing out the idle after it warmed up. Then I noticed the linkage had not return all the way to the idle screw. Once I pushed it up the rpms went down and it ran smoother than it ever has. I’m putting a tachometer on it to see what the rpms are but not sure where it’s supposed to be set. Also I need to figure out why the linkage didn’t return by itself. If anyone knows the proper rpms at idle I would greatly appreciate the help. Thank you
