2004 F150txrc gauge functions

Are the oil and water indicators on a 2004 Key West 186DC with F150 supposed to work? Our boat has indicators for both, but neither light up, so just wondering.

What type of gauge? Needle and dial or multi-function type?

If the latter, the type with lights or the type with LCD bars?

I would think that the alarm systems should work and gauges indicate what set them off

Sounds like the alarm may be sounding, indicating a problem, but the applicable light is not being turned on. But who knows. I don't. Might not be a Yamaha gauge. Might be some lights in the boat added by someone.
