There is conflicting guidance in my service manual for my VZ250TLR about removing the coil cover. I need to gain access to the electric fuel pump relay for testing and the manual states to remove the coil cover to access it. In a proceeding test proceedure for the fuel pump pressure sensor it states to only pull back the coil cover and not remove it because the coils are attached to the coil cover. Since I have never removed or loosened this cover I am hesitant to do so without knowing if I can do it without screwing up the coils. I need to test that electric fuel pump relay. Can anyone one give better guidance or confirm what is in the service manual about removing the coil cover to access that fuel pump relay.
