Just got head rebuilt from yammie dealer but engine cuts off at idle which is 500rpm. Do I need them to increase the idle speed, (will run at 600-700rpm but shut off at 500rpm, or maybe gas problems, which has E-gas that been in boat for almost A year with stablizer in it. Most online mechanics say E-gas is bad for outboard especially carb. Engines. Need advise.

did the carbs get correctly setup after the head rebuild.

carb. idle
yes carbs. were rebuilt and it ran fine the first day in the water, but the second time I notice it was cutting off at idle. Worrying about this situation I started it just yesterday in the yard sitting in 55gal drum, it runs ok at 650-700 rpm, but when I drop it back to neutral or idle 500rpm it cuts off. Will try to bring back to yammie dealer to find out problem, gas or carbs adjustment.Comment
