Yamaha Gauges

Hi All, new member, I have 3 Yamaha Gauges from my 2008 150hp outboard and 2 of them seem to have something rattling around in them , Not sure if that is ok but they were all working well and I am trying to sell them but am not sure about rattle, is there anyway of get into them to see what the rattle is or is this normal

Not normal. I suspect they can be gotten into but darn if I know how without causing damage. Or leaving evidence of them having been tampered with.

Might want to give https://gaugesaver.com/ a call and see what he has to say. Might be worth it to have him refurbish them, in which case you might get more money for them. Or a faster sale.

Thanks Boscoe, it is strange as they are still working fine.

but since he works on gauges he may know how to open them up properly & put back together
and may know or have so idea what might be rattling around inside
