Hi!
My F100 OEM oil filter is 5GH-13440-00 that is superseded by 5GH-13440-30.
5GH-13440-00 had a diferent filtration device (if I can say so, at least from most common filters) while 5GH-13440-30 looks like a common paper/card filter.
My question is 5GH-13440-20 which is +/- 1/4" (7mm) shorter than 5GH-13440-00 / -30 will work without problems?
Some sites recomend it on latest models up to F70 other up to F115
Canīt find any info about oil flow rates of 5GH-13440-00 / -30 or 5GH-13440-20 / -50
Have been told me thats not a problem but I'm not sure if will supply enough oil flow for motor needs since is shorter (maybe this means nothing at all)
The only solution I can figure out is measure the oil pressure at idle and check if is whiting specs of Service Manual.
If is OK at idle should be OK at WOT or other throttle ranges, right?
