07 f250 fuel filter

I had to install a whole new fuel filter housing , the one that mounts to the front of the motor. I noticed the old one would fill up all the way with fuel & the new one fills up about two thirds the way , is this normal. I only ran it with the hose & muffs for about 5 min.with the new housing, does it maybe take longer to fill up ???

Thats completely normal and its the same when your at speed.
