Swapping motors
Bought a new boat - I want to swap the motors from boat to boat.
Yamaha F100TLRZ - 100 hp four stroke - carburetors - I am told it is a 1999
Yamaha F60 TLRH - 60 HP four stroke - Fuel injection- 2008
The wiring harnesses are the same plug so will plug into either motor.
Here is my question" The 100HP harness has 10 pins (conductors) the 60HP has 9 pins (conductors), can the motors be swapped without swapping the harnesses and gauges?
Simply - what is the 10th pin (conductor) for?
