Looking at a 1991 C115 TLRP

I am looking at a 1991 Fiberking made Bomber Boat with a 1991 115 HP Yamaha model C115 TLRP . Can anyone give me info on this motor . It starts good , runs out good and is very quiet compared to my 87 model 90 hp Johnson . One of my questions about the motor is about it not having the automatic oil mixing for the fuel . Not being very knowledgeable about Yamaha , just wondered if they had that option at that time . Any info will be appreciated .

A C115 is a variant of a 115. The C stood for consumer value I believe. It was cheaper to buy because it did not have the oil injection system and low oil warning system installed.

Many prefer a premix model because in addition to it costing less, there is less to go wrong. It might use a tad more oil but depending upon how much the motor is used that may or may not be a factor.
