Yamaha 150 HPDI Cutting out

Hi Guys. My father purchased a used 2007 Yamaha 150HP HPDI Outboard at the start of the year with around 300 hours of use. Upon mounting and testing the engine we have found that after a random period of time, the engine will rev down and cut out with no clear reason why, and refuse to start after this point for a while. We have purchased a diagnostic kit for reading the ECU, and nothing seems to be wrong, apart from an #59 - Memory Data error occuring about 4 hours before the current clocked hours.
