Command Link won't come out of Maintence

turn the key ON.
wait until the maint pops up. hit the mode button once to obtain the normal gauge.
NOW press and hold mode until the custom maint pops up. now use mode to scroll.
like I said, the buttons are touchy and the system is NOT user friendly but it does work well once you do a few or a few hundred.
that's why I rigged my F150 with command link back in 07.
so I could play with it.

RB17...your last reply seemed to work. In the end, when the key is cycled off-on I come up with the correct display (t-b-op).

When I went to "Custom Maint" display, at first, I used the mode to scroll through but that didn't seem to work or make sense to me. I retried and got back to the "Custom Maint" display and then hit "SET" and that seemed to work. It seems logical that the pressing SET will reset the Maint100h to 0h. Does that sound correct?

What I'll do is document this in a single thread that describes what was done so that others that might search on Maint100h message will at least have a shot at rectifying this annoying issue.
