2003 yamaha 9.9 4 stroke wont start

hello doing maint on boat over these cold days.changed plugs ,oil .ect went to fire up wont fire at all tryed starting fluid put old plugd back chked lanyard its hooked up in wont try to fire .any ideas? thanks

look at the very basic things first, toss the starting fluid in the bin, check spark, is spark OK?, does it have fuel in the tank? is the fuel OK? is the fuel getting to the motor? was the motor OK before you "serviced" it?

no spark at plug wires one coil run both cylinders. i tryed mulitymeter on reading all i could get was when i tested hot and blk wire on coil.100k omes it zeroed .every other combination nothing i test my other motor and same test i got 300 omes

no spark? OK, leave the starting fluid in the bin, are you 100% sure the cut out is working?? does it have a simple on/off switch somewhere? check for a bad earth and bad/corroded wires in the ignition circuit, do you have a genuine service manual? if not buy one, it will help trouble shooting.
