My friend has a yamaha pro 50 mod '98.What is the diference between pro 50 and simple 50hp?
Do you know any specs from the engine?
Total displacement,full throttle speed range (r/min) is it as usual 5500 or more?
Can we tune it up someway?

If you are looking for more HP there is a place to spend some money called hydrotecmarine.com. But I do not think 10 more HP is worth the cost

One more.
The tachometer is not working.(damage on the screen)
We found new ones (kus brand) analogic tachometer and trim sensor.
How can we connect them?
What is the cables coming from engine stands for?

I also have a 50hp pro and was wondering if there is a difference? did you find out?

PRO 50 is 849cc (60/70) block while "regular" 50 is 696cc
