Ox66 150hp with M-19 prop

I have a 2000 OX66 150 hp with M-19 prop. Push a 2000 century 1900 .After a short fishing trip today I decided to wot to my surprise I was only able to get 4800 at wot pushing the boat about 39 mph. Should wot be around 5500 rpm? Am I over proping?

Did it ever run up to proper RPM at WOT?

No . I usely just cruise around 4300 rpm @34 mph.

well if it never was able to run up to proper RPM at WOT the there is a problem with the motor, the set up , or the wrong prop

might look here to see if you can get some info0 on a rig like yours to see what prop they used.

Thanks for your reply after checking the bulletin it call for a
6G5-45978-03-98 SS PROP 13-3/4X17 . I will check on that prop .
