Trim switch clicks will not move up or down

2007 75hp Yamaha trim switch in the throttle and engine will not move the engine up or down. There is a click but no movement. I installed a new throttle Tim switch a couple weeks ago and everything was working fine. Also noticed my battery gauge is working intermittently. Any help would be appreciated.

sounds like bad connection.
could be pos or neg

load test the battery also

Could the loose connection be under the console. I may have knocked something loose when hooking up the throttle trim switch. Only thing I did was pull the three switch wires apart at the connectors and replace with new.

I would think from battery to motor and the T&T relay/motor
