703 Control Part #22

I'm reassembling a 703 Remote Control Box. I have an extra little plastic part (see photo) left over. On the attached diagram it's part #22. However I have been unable to determine exactly where it goes or what it does? I think it's just a grommet sort of thing. Can anyone help?

I just installed a 703. That rubber piece goes in-between the shift cable and the throttle cable where they are captured by the alloy throttle case. It keeps the cables separated a little bit and gives some cushion so when you screw on the access plate, the cables don't rattle around.
