2006 150 TXR Tachometer

Hi, did a search, no luck.

New to me 2006 150 TXR 2 stroke motor.

It has a single plug under the hood and the 4 wires to the tach plug are;

Gray/black stripe, Green/red stripe, Green/black stripe, Pink

I need a tach, is this the correct one? 6Y5-8350T-EO-OO

Hello..Would we be able to put a tach on our quads? I know we dont truly need one in light of the sound and feel of the bicycle however in the event that we could what amount would it cost and how simple would it be to connect?

this thread is about a 2006 150 outboard.
when you said quads, I was thinking 4 outboards on a boat
but then you mentioned bike.
so I have no idea why you posted on here

I should not answer...but will anyway. Go on ebay and search for portable tachometer...they go for about $30. Mount it on the console and run one wire to the spark plug wire..that's it. They work good and the battery lasts quite a while..
