2004 F225 Diagnostics record

2004 F225 warning buzzer going off at idle. It never goes off when starting the boat but after I run it for a while it may buzz when I come to an idle. I've had it looked by two dealers now. One changed the water impeller and said that was the problem but it wasn't. Other said it must be a GPS or something because everything checked out good. For about 30 hours now it does it off and on. I never know.

So my question is if something was wrong it would have a diagnostics record? I bought software to check on my own and I show no records of alarms.

are you saying that your gauges do not indicate why the alarm buzzer is sounding for while the alarm is in?

I have analog outboard gauges so no it doesn't show anything. I turn outboard off and back on and everything is fine.

what good are gauges that do not tell you what you need to know?
most I have seen have indicators for overheat and I would think gauges for a 4 stroke would indicate low oil pressure.

what kind of gauges do you have?
