  • Yamaha 200HPDI - electrical mystery

Batteries were crossed. Now I'm Having electrical issue with my 2005 HPDI. The cables at the motor test good. All fuses are good. Can't tilt/trim, oil pump, starter to do anything. Could it be the relays? Is there anything hidden I may be overlooking?

    All accessories are working correctly.

    Any help appreciated!!

    Thanks

As always we need a complete model identity. Is this a VZ200 or a Z200.

I am betting on a fuse.

I am still betting on the fuse being blown. All power from the battery goes to the fuse panel and crosses an 80 (maybe 60) amp fuse before it goes to other fuses and relays. See diagram below.

Check the number one pin on the input connector to the fuse panel. Do you have 12 volts there? Check the other side of the fuse. Do you have 12 volts there?
