115 to a 130

Working on my project boat that came with a blown '98 115 2 stroke, long shaft. I came across a fresh '95 130 short shaft. Can I place that powerhead on my motor? Will my harness, gauges, controls work with it? Boat is rated for 150hp.

I see no reason why a 130 dressed power plant would not plug and play on a 115 mid-section.

The connections from the boat (wire harness, controls, gauges and such) are interchangeable.
