2015 Yamaha F150LA Fuel Leak

Hi everyone.

I am new to this forum. I just bought a boat with a 2015 Yamaha F150LA outboard motor. I noticed that while it is running, fuel is leaking out of a vent line. I believe the vent line runs to the VST. I took it apart and cleaned it all up, put it back together, and it is still pouring out the vent line. Any idea what could be wrong?

What did you "take apart"?

If there is fuel exiting the VST vent,
then the needle valve in the VST is not seating/sealing.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I took the VST apart.

Thanks for the tip. You were exactly right. The valve wasn't seating due to a faulty O-ring (it was hard as a rock). I replaced it and it appears to have fixed the problem! I appreciate your help!
