F130 v's VF115 SHO

Probably a little early on this one but what do people think the difference will be in these two new outboards.

Both use the same block but the Vmax has different fuel delivery system and a couple of other performance mods.

My current boat has a F115 but is rated to 150hp - The weight of the F115 makes a good balance and whilst the F150 works well on this boat it is a tad heavy.

What fuel system works better? dunno!
If you motor works good a F115 by a F115 is not a good deal (IMO)

If your boat is rated for 150 get a F175 (I'm joking, know what you mean about the balance)

Most people say the F115 puts out a bit more HP then 115 and certainly the VF115 SHO would be even better but would there be that much difference in the two given they are built on the same block ?

Essentially I want to stay with the same weight outboard because as I stated with the F150 the boat sits a bit lower in the water and the scuppers are not clear of the water.

I've heard that the F150 have 163HP (or something like that) but never heard about the F115 have more power than announced but off course we canīt expect the motor to have the exact power announced (hopefully have more)
To be sure we would need a dyno test,

But a 115 should be a 115 (+/- a couple of HP) no matter the fuel system (IMO) Guys correct me if I'm wrong

Even if the F115 have a few more HP the F130 should also have...

I have a carbed F100 and I donīt think the F100 EFI is more powerfull.

I heard Evinrude is the company with bigger diferences between announced power and true power.
