i have a 2011 f40la outboard was running fine then one day just wouldnt get on step anymore only turns about 4000 then after awhile runs like a champ. when its bogging down if i hit the trim switch up or down it bogs down. and when i first start it gotta turn the key 2-3 times before it will start. im thinking its the high pressure fuel pump. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Any one have any info ? At a lost. Had dealer run the computer. Nothing wrong with it. But still boggin down. -

Has this engine had the high pressure pump replaced under warranty? there was a tech exchange on them some time ago(for engines that fell within a serial no range) - quiz your dealer.Comment
