Over heavy alarms

I have '04 225 4 strokes.
Have completed the block removal, and replacement of the heavily corroded plates.
Still have overheat alarms at idle??
No alarms at over1100 rpm.
Any ideas.? Thanks Bill

What is the complete model of your motor?

What is the part number of the kit that you used?
