Water pressure gauge

Good day, I fitted a pro series II water pressure gauge, do I need to bleed the pipe before connecting to the gauge, thanks Dave

Not only do you not bleed a water pressure line, you actually want air to be in the line. You never want water to be able to get to the gauge.

Preferably the hose runs upwards from the motor to the gauge. Water pressure will be converted to air pressure and air pressure will be acting upon the gauge to make it indicate pressure. Air pressure will be the same as water pressure.

All kinds of bad stuff can happen if water gets to the gauge itself.
