  • 250 hpdi v max search for trim connector

    Hy Guys,

I was searching for the 4pin connector for the trim display.it is not at my engine harnes...:confused
The connector is called D,on the wiringdiagram,i only found the 2pin connector from the trimsensor.
So i dont see the trim on the gauge.
The engine was an 250 hdpi vmax from 12.2005
    Does anyone have an idea?
    best regards
    Sascha

Depending upon the actual date of production of your model you may have one or two connectors in the front of the engine pan. They will normally be connected to what Yamaha calls a trim/oil harness. The harness runs from the motor to the helm. The wires convey information to a Yamaha tachometer and trim gauge. Just one of the wires (pink) provides the trim signal information.

You need to look some more.

You will find the connector(s) in the front of the engine pan. They are either connected to a trim/oil harness or not. The pink wire leading to the connector carries the engine trim information.

Here is what they look like. These are connected to a trim/oil harness.

What is it that you are wanting to do?
