I have 2001 yamaha cv 40 (xwtl).
The over heating alarm has been going off when i go over 3 quarter throttle. I can sit on 3 quarter and it not go off but the moment i go over it goes off within 20 seconds.
i have changed thermostat and sensor.
Water is pumping fine and motor isn't over heating i am replacing water pump just to be sure bit i am running out of ideas.
Anyone else got any ideas?
