2006 yamaha hpdi vmax 200hp sudden shut down

Hi guys
I need some advise disparately last Sunday took the boat out it started

ran just fine

and bout 10 min into the trip all of a sudden bogged down and shut off.
Tried to start it again but would only try to crank as if the batteries were dead also my sonar display started flickering while I tried starting... not the case as I put new batteries in and doing the same its as if it has ceased.

no warning alarm or anything, oil compartment full

sounds like the starter is having a hard time turning the motor.
drop the lower unit and then try turning the motor again( lower may be binding up not the power head)
