F2.5mlfh burning oil propeller is black and oily

I have a like new 2.5 4 stroke that burns oil motor has less than 100 hours so I am told. The propeller is covered in black soot oily. Anyone experience this?

Have you checked the oil level?
if making oil(gas getting in oil) the level gets high enough that it gets into the intake and tries to burn

Might wanna do a leak down test.

That should point you in the right direction.

If available, scoping the cylinder may reveal excessive wear/issues..
