fuse to starter keeps blowing on 25hp 4 stroke

I'm assuming it shorted out.....when I unplugged the red wire the fuse wouldn't blow but as soon as I plugged it back in.....it blew the fuse.

Found a used part on ebay and it's fixed!

I'd be curious, you may be, but just for S&G's, cut the old one apart and see what failed..
Especially failing as it did (apparently a dead short inside)

Shouldn't take long... It's up to you..
