motor stumbles and wont make rpm - unless i have fuel pressure gauge hooked up - runs awesome, as soon as its diconnected, it goes right back to stumbling and not making rpm, pressure reads within spec and vst has been replaced - any suggestions?

Do I presume correctly that with the gauge installed the cowling is off and when the gauge is not corrected then the cowling is installed?

If so check for a pinched fuel hose.

              A 2007 F350 would be a TXR or a TUR only.

I was guessing it was going to be a Z300TXR.

Turns out it is not a 300 at all.

Yep, in the header its one HP, lower in the thread another HP.

I was throwing out the idea a model # is needed (have no idea what his is).

                Great info above BTW...

sorry about he mis-info, the motor is actually on a friends boat and I didn't have my facts together before asking the question. I figured someone on this forum would know something even if I was off on the hp. Thanks for trying

                    No problem.

In any event, did you / your friend check that fuel line Boscoe mentioned? Was that the issue?

i think that was it, we've had horrible weather so its not tested yet, but the fuel line was in the wrong spot with the cowling in place. Fingers crossed! awesome forum for help.
