      Still waiting for the new VST filters to come in, they should be here next week. I will post results once they arrive and I get them changed out.

        My new filters are due to arrive tomorrow so I went ahead and stripped the VST pump down this evening to speed up the filter change when the new ones arrive.

        Here is a picture of the old filters, they don't look too bad. I poured the old fuel from the VST into a glass container and it was clean, very clean.

        I blew some air through the filters and they don't appear to be clogged, fuel drained easily through them.

        Obviously I an no expert and I don't know how to truly determine a "good" vs. "bad" but I wanted to see what you guys think. Pictures are attached.

          I'd say your're right - those filters look fine. Keep them as spares!
