Mine, per the shop manual is 476 lbs with the prop..

Yup, I should have mentioned that my manual says 434.3 without the prop.

Anyone else have any comments or suggestions?

Are you changing out just the electric pump motor (for brushes, etc) or the entire trim and tilt assembly??

I'm not changing the trim motor or tilt/trim assy, I'm not the original poster who was trying to change his trim motor, that was BQUICK.

Just an suggestion, its best to start a new thread with your issue, it just keeps it a bit simpler.

I've never changed out that tube but generally heat (a heat gun, NOT torch), and a good penetrating oil can't hurt.

You may end up removing both transom brackets looking at the picture you posted...
