Float chamber gasket holder

Hi!

What is the sealant/"glue" used to fixe/hold the gaskets on the cabs float chamber?

Loctite 518???

any other that do the job and if cheaper is wellcome.

Opened the carbs I got as spairs for a clean and removed the float chamber gasket
What I found looks like a red sealant to hold the rubber gasket in place

When reassembled the carbs the float chamber gaskets "were short" and had to stretch it a little to fit on the float chamber again.

Vasoline is very usefull
