703 control box Question

2006 50 HP w/703 control mounted on side of CC. Throttle handle has started working out like something inside the box has come loose or off. I can push handle back on to tighten but it works loose right away. Is there a way to tighten this back up.

There should be a screw in the middle, under the small, round, center cover(of the lever) that needs to be tightened..

Thanks any suggestions on how to get that cover off. Appears to be a snap in with bosses on the snaps to prohibit removal.

Push the tabs in slightly with a thin screw driver and pull gently.

Most interiors of cars and many bikes are built the same way..

Cover doesn't need to come off. Bolt that needs tightening is on backside of control. (13mm bolt)

He has 703 control not flush mount control.
