  • Plates, Screws, TPS, Oil Rod.......2001 hpdi 200

I looked for the updated procedure for TPS and could not find it. So I would like to make sure these adjustments and the order they are done in is correct.
I have the Yamaha service manual and my numbers posted below reflect the numbers on page 3-7, and then 3-13.

Back the idle adjustment screw all the way off the stop ledge. And disconnected the throttle lever rod.
Loosen all the throttle valve screws, make sure they are in the fully closed position, tighten each one except #4.
Manually adjust the TPS till .48-.52 volts is achieved, then tighten the screws for the tps making sure the reading doesnt change.
With throttle valve #4 still loose adjust the idle screw till TPS reads .62 volts. Then tighten #4
Adjust oil rod to rest on the stopper

    Sound Right?

    Thanks!
Working...
