yamaha precision blend oil transfer

I have a 91 Yamaha 150 TXRP.

my oil will not transfer from reserve tank to the tank on the motor normally.
it will transfer with the manual override switch.
my float switches all check out good.
my wiring from floats up to the CDI unit is good.
the wiring from pump to cdi unit is good.
the trim switch reads properly on the dash gauge. so I am assuming it is OK.


I see tons of post on this topic but they all assume the issue is in the floats or wiring. I feel like I have check out all those issues and still do not have oil transfer.

Where else could the problem be? could the problem be with the CDI unit?

READ the posts on this problem, the answer is there, yes you may have to test some stuff, don't buy parts without diagnosing anything, especially the CDI unit that you "suspect"
