Yamaha F150 Balancer -3 and -4

What the different from these , my 2017 F-150 has -3 and I see there new one with -4. Just curious what the different .

I doubt that anyone outside of the engineering department in Japan knows.

A 2017 F150B model would have been delivered with a -04-00 balancer. The -03-00 was updated to the -04-00 configuration during mid production in 2012 in the F150A models.

My 2017 F150 was brand new. I was looking at the balancer and it has a stamp of -3

The markings on the balancer are not indicative of the balancer dash number.

Plus 1 ^^^, there are no markings on the balancer noting the model..

My 02 balancer was replaced under warranty.

I replaced the 03 for an 04 (when the 03 started whining)…
