    L = Left Hand Prop Rotation
    225 = Power
    F = Series
    E = Electric Start
    T = Trim and Tilt
    O = Oil Injected aka Autolube/ Precision Blend

    X = 25 inch Shaft

    Manufactured 1998 (doesn´t mean year of purchase)

    Match with US model L225TXRW if you want/need buy parts is US

          Mr. 87mako21,

          How about you checking your motor and letting us know if it has an oxygen sensor. It will be under a black plastic cover on the top right hand side of the motor. Adjacent to cylinder number one.

          Thanks,

            I'll take a look this weekend...curious about your question. What if it does/doesn't?

              I don't think it matters.

              I seem to recall Rodbolt saying that his wife's family has a similar OX66 motor and that it does not have an O2 sensor. All of the OX66's distributed in the USA have them.

              Just wondering if yours does or does not.

              Where are you located?

                  Looks like this was not a motor from the USA if it does not have a USA model #.
                  Where did you come up with it?

                    Yeah...it was awesome figuring that one out! It is the motor that came on the Mako I just bought....no idea where it came from.

                      Taken from Manual parts of 225F/L225F

                      Rodbolt would be interesting you get the PID and S/N of your family motor so I could have a look on my data tell what I can find.

                      If have no O2 sensor should have diferent PID (or not)

                        I couldn't even find the manual for the motor...ordered what I thought was the US equivalent. Where did you find yours?
