New to the forum, hopefully someone can answer my question.
I currently own a 1999-2000 range Yamaha 25hp (Model 25MSHY) without electric start and I am looking to add components (flywheel, starter, etc.) in order to have electric start.
I have come across another motor, 1994-1995 year range Yamaha 25hp (Model C25ELRS), and was curious if someone could tell me if these parts were compatible. I have only seen pictures of the motor I have found and I am not sure if everything would line up, and if it did, would it be mechanically safe to install and use?
