What year is my outboard?

I have a Yamaha 25 Electric start and I need a new starter, but I can't find out what year the model is. The number is
Yamaha 25 ESH
6L2K S 1034019

Any advice where I can get an electric starter for this would also be appreciated!

2008 / 2009 I guess

There should be a sticker on the side of the motor that indicates the month and year of production.

As Mr. Almetelo indicates it appears to have been made in 2008 or 2009.

What seems to be the problem with the starter?
they can be repaired sometimes.

Not sure where you are located, but look around to see if you can find a starter/alternator repair shop close by

Thanks for everyone's help. The started is beyond repair and I have had that from three different sources! Now I know where to get a new one
