Fuel line

Hi Have a FB 80, Just wondered what the internal diameter of the fuel pipe from the fuel tank to the engine should be? I always thought 6-8 mm to allow good fuel flow, the one fitted to the boat at the moment is 4 mm, any help would be gratefully received.

The 4MM will probably work fine at wide open throttle, but for your peace of mind maybe replace it with the larger line....overcapacity in fuel lines could only be your friend, especially regarding any restrictions from kinking, deterioration, other factors....just my thoughts on this...
