  • fuel management gauge problem

I have a 2006 2-stroke 300hp yamaha engine with a "round" fuel management gauge. The gauge has been working great for years. Very resently the fuel consumption has stopped working. It started reading 0.0gph, and it is now showing "-" on the gauge. Can anyone tell me how to troubleshoot what is going wrong and how to fix it.
    Thanks, Kevin

The Yam FMM is connected to a fuel flow transmitter via a harness with connectors at each end. Check those connectors for the presence of corrosion of other signs of distress.

There should be an unused connector at the transmitter end. You can try using that connector.

If neither of the above corrects the problem your transmitter might be belly up.
